Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are done using a variety of chemical solutions with the goal of improving the appearance of facial skin by removing damaged outer layers.   Atlanta Plastic Surgery Specialists uses IMAGE Skincare®, a chemical peel product line featuring all natural ingredients, such as Aloe Vera, Papaya, Green Tea and Vitamin C. IMAGE Skincare® face peels target wrinkles, blemishes, and uneven skin pigmentation. Our wide variety of chemical peels can take you from organic peeling to medical grade forte peeling.

Your chemical peel session will last approximately 45 minutes. You will lay back and the esthetician will perform the medical grade chemical peel procedure using all of the professional grade products listed above. Depending on the type of chemical peel used and the intensity of the peel, you may or may not actually “peel”. Peeling intensity varies from person to person.

NEW SKIN PREMIUM PEEL
This concentrated blend of active exfoliants, lactic acid, salicylic acid, and resorcinol work synergistically to quickly and effectively reduce the appearance of advanced aging, pigmentation, and acne. This is an extra-strength service.

This potent chemical peel that targets acne blends alpha and beta hydroxy acids with anti-inflammatory agents to target acne lesions. A powerful AHA/BHA blend in an aloe vera gel base targets acne lesions. Botanical lighteners target post acne pigmentation.

MICRONEEDLING
Microneedling, or Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), your esthetician targets collagen and elastin by using tiny “micro needles” to create micro-wounds. This service targets skin tone and texture. In scars, the micro needles target the existing scar tissue. Microneedling can be done on all skin types.

Why did I look sad when I was not? When I saw my “normal” facial expression in the mirror, it just looked worn out. I did not like it for I did not feel like that on the inside! Dr. Jones changed it!
